AI update/ Link – Triage Tool
There is going to be a new tool, regarding triaging. We have signed up to a new Triage AI system, which we have had funding for. This can be done, online, on the telephone and in person. This will be accessible 24hrs a day. The GP partners will set a selection of questions for triaging. There will be a red, amber, green process to book patients appointments. Patients will then has slots that they can book into within the slots.
Patients are seen who needs to be seen, and non urgent problems are offered an appointment for the future.
There will be a privacy area with a screen, where patients can access this.
We will overall the appointments, to make this work with the AI triage tool.
We have started implementing the pre bookable appointment to introduce this to patients.

It was mentioned that we should have a review date after we go live after the 2nd of April. This is to do audits and listen to patients and to communicate. This won’t be an easy process for staff and patients.
